A few interview schedules are still due to Ms. Davie.

Information about the Remembrance Day assembly Monday is coming home.

Some students are speaking at the assembly. All of 2D are singing. Words to the song came home too. We are practicing here at school too.

Our inquiry about Remembrance Day is going so fantastically. Many things your child notices and wonderings.  We will continue to investigate. Chat to your child what we are still trying to figure out.

Monday, November 4

A fantastic day of learning - an inquiry began from looking at photo of the Ottawa Monument. Your child was asked: What do you notice? What do you wonder? Chat with your child about what they discovered. Also did a great read aloud "Bunny the brave war horse." Many concepts were discussed about WWI and WWII

Growing pattern work is coming home for you to see how they are doing.

Friday, Nov. 1

A big happy halloween to you! Your child had a great day Thursday.

We're working on listening, sharing, and compromising when working in a group. Spooky things from Halloween using the alphabet was our first task.  Groups of 5 with only 2 markers.  There's room for improvement for some of our learners.

Growing patterns is our math focus. First to determine that the pattern is growing and then how (by number and/or position).  Our first attempting at creating our own 3, 6, 9 or 4, 8, 12 went very well with our halloween graphics.

Monday, we will be having a BINGO game around zones of regulations (how you are feeling: angry, sad, happy or worried).
