Ms. Andrea DavieDec. 12Dance tomorrow starting at 12:45.You may dress up. There are snacks for $1 each. We have been talking about family, generations, and traditions. Please have a chat with your child and help fill in their family tree.
Dec. 11We are doing great with our food donation drive. 2D is at 65 items. So many have contributed. Thank you kindly. We may just win an ice cream sundae party. Knick knack shopping happened this afternoon. Again thank you for sending your child with money. They had a great time finding nice gifts. Library books due tomorrow. Many were kept in their book bins this week but some kids have overdue books. Math quizzes are coming home. Please continue to practice numbers to 200 various ways, adding, subtracting, and using the <, =, > signs.
Dec. 6Guest teacher on Monday. Please chat about being kind, helpful, and hard working. It is our class` shopping day at the knick knack sale. All items are $1 Class newsletter that your child helped to write is coming home today. We also finished our pictures and letters to send to troops overseas who aren`t with their families this year. Excellent work of kindess through their words and drawings. Gym class Another week of food drive donations. 2D has been excellent. We are at 54 items! December 5Dance Math quiz - reading/writing base ten blocks to 200, adding, subtract Knick Knack sale - $1 an item. We will shop on Monday. We wrote excellent holiday letters to troops who won't be with their families this Christmas.
Dec. 4Taking food bank donations - we have gathered 13 items so far. Library books due. Our class book "2D crayons quit" - is complete. We will share it home once the book has been made. Your child wrote a recount of a part of our trip to the Frink Centre. We will continue to use the criteria to help us retell an event in an interesting, engaging way. Tomorrow we will do Christmas letters to Troops who will not be home for the holidays. Get thinking about what you want to write about. More Articles... |
