Wow, can you believe this weather! Well, those at school, we further explored our main characters by describing by their personality traits. How do they act?

Thursday will be our mapping test, health and gym

When reading, we are concentrating on words that have 'ee', 'ea', 'ai' - noticing they all say the long a sound.

Friday, Feb. 14

Happy Valentine's Day to all the 2D families.We had a very caring, sharing, loving, and fun day. I am once again so proud of your children. They are kindhearted, thoughtful, and really just enjoy each other.

It is a family day weekend. There is a Tweed Winter Festival starting tonight. Check out Facebook for the detailed events.

Sunday is the Kiwanis' annual pancake breakfast at the curling club starting at 9:00. They support a lot of activities both at school and in various clubs. 

Monday, there is free skating at the arena from 12:00-3:00. 

Thursday, Feb. 13

Students wrote valentine cards for our local Veterans and they were delivered after school. 

Social studies test next Thursday - study guide and blue duotang came home today.
